ASTANA - Within two days, 27-28-March 2024, Compliance Officer Boran Dyusenov held meetings with employees of the central office of JSC «RCSC», «Akkol» SCC and «Kokterek» SCC.

The discussion focused on the results of the work of the Anti-Corruption Compliance Service to prevent corruption in the «JSC RCSC» for 2023, and on the upcoming events during 2024.

During the report, Boran Dyusenov analyzed the corruption risks in the activities of JSC «RCSC». As it was noted by the compliance officer, according to the results of the audit, no acts of corruption were committed in the activities of the joint-stock company in 2023, but there were some remarks (of non-corruption nature).

During the reporting period, several recommendations were made to the Chairman of the Board regarding the inclusion in civil law contracts concluded by quasi-public sector entities and in procurement contracts of provisions on mandatory compliance by the parties to the contract with anti-corruption legislation, business ethics, integrity and the principles of voluntary competition.

In addition, within the framework of implementation of the Anti-Corruption Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan, consultations and meetings on improvement of business processes of the joint stock company were held with officers and members of the Management Board, heads of departments and divisions.

The monitoring and inspection for administrative and corruption offenses or crimes among employees and officers of the joint stock company, as well as compliance with the norms of anti-corruption legislation is carried out on a permanent basis.

During 2023, more than 87 documents were reviewed: drafts of memos and explanatory notes and draft decisions (orders) from structural subdivisions, submitted to the Company's Management Board meeting for opinions and approvals from the Anti-Corruption Compliance Service.

The participants of the meetings were introduced to the Anti-corruption Instruction for the employees of the joint-stock company «RCSC», approved by the decision of the Board of Directors of JSC «RCSC» dated 01.03.2024.

In Quarter 2, 2024, the Anti-Corruption Compliance Service plans to train about 30 employees on the topic: «ISO 37001:2016. «Anti-corruption Management System» for employees and officers of the Company.
