In honor of the 20th anniversary of RCSC JSC, which will be celebrated on March 18, 2024, our company held a ski race in the Akkol town on the territory of the Zharzhum recreation area.

14 men (distance 5 km) and 5 women (distance 1.5 km) took part in the sport event with the participation of RCSC employees, members of their families and invited guests from other enterprises of Kazkosmos. Moreover, among the participants was the Chairman of the Aerospace Committee of the MDDIAI RK Baubek Oralmagambetov, who in his greeting before the start of the ski track noted that such a competition is an excellent start to the upcoming anniversary.

Good weather, conditions created for all participants and guests: skating rink for children, walks in the winter forest, a large cauldron of pilau, the spirit of competition and awards from the RCSC left an excellent impression and charge for the coming work week.

The best among the participants was the granddaughter of the former head of the RCSC, Viktor Lefter. 12-year-old Vera completed the distance with the best result. Lyazzat Jumanova (RCSC) took second place, Gulnur Mukhamedieva (RCSC) completed the distance third.

Among the men, the cup was won by Almas Kelgenbaev from the Galam joint venture, who has been participating in the RCSC winter skiing for the second year. The second and third places went to representatives of the RCSC Boris Karimov and Ildar Akhmetzhanov.

Chairman of the Board of JSC RCSC Malik Zhuiriktayev thanked all participants and winners for their activity, and Galymzhan Mikishev, competition judge, employee of the Akkol Space Communications Center, noted that the main task of such events is to involve as many people as possible in a healthy lifestyle, which suggests clean air, movement and good mood. According to everyone who was on the RCSC winter ski track that day, it was a great success!
