JSC “RCSC” took part in the Digital Bridge-2022 digital forum

ASTANA. PRESS RELEASE – In the annual International Technology Forum Digital Bridge, a panel session "Satellite technologies: a sustainable engine of socio-economic development" was organized by RCSC JSC.

Representatives from Turkey, Monaco, the USA, France, the Netherlands, and Great Britain took part in the session dedicated to modern satellite technologies.

The moderator of the panel session, the chief adviser of the MonacoSat company, Mesut Ciceker, in his welcoming speech noted that “the purpose of the meeting is to share an opinion on the situation in the field of satellite technologies today, to exchange experience in the development and integration of modern satellite technologies into everyday life, to contribute to the socio-economic development of countries”.

Speakers - Selman Nas - Vice President of Turkish aerospace industries (TAI), Simon Getty Saunt - Vice President of SES Networks, Ivan Zaytsev - OneWeb Market Access Director, Karen Badalov - Regional Director of EUTELSAT, Christoph Bauer - Vice President of Astranis, Dr. Aygun Ilhami, President of Monaco Sat, shared the latest developments in the field of satellite technologies, methods and their experience in using space technologies for business interests, promoting the industrialization of space, and also spoke about cooperation with the Republic of Kazakhstan, including implementation of communication systems based on satellite systems in non-geostationary orbit.

The result of the panel session was the signing of a number of documents of the National Operator of the Republic of Kazakhstan for satellite communications - JSC "Republican Center of Space Communication" of the Aerospace Committee of the MDDIAI of the Republic of Kazakhstan with partners. These include a memorandum of understanding between RCSC JSC, Galam LLP and Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI), as well as agreements with SES and One Web companies. On behalf of RCSC JSC, the documents were signed by the Chairman of the Board Malik Zhuiriktayev.

“I am sure that the current Digital Bridge forum will give a new impetus to the development of IT technologies in the region, and open up new horizons and opportunities for startups in the countries participating in this event. Digital Bridge has already become a digital bridge that unites everyone involved in the promotion of digital ideas,” said the Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bagdat Mussin.
